No. Your Proxmox API is never exposed to the internet. All communication goes through an encrypted WireGuard tunnel on a private 10.x.x.x network. The API token has a custom role with only the permissions needed for VM management.

We include a WHMCS provisioning module so you can run both systems in parallel during migration. Connect your nodes to HostPVE, create matching plans, and gradually move clients over. No downtime needed.

Your VMs keep running. HostPVE is the management layer — it doesn't sit in the data path. If our SaaS is temporarily unavailable, your clients' servers continue operating normally. You just can't create new VMs or manage existing ones until we're back.
